After a stint in production managing commercials, Holly decided that she knew far too much about cleaning products and cat food to be healthy and therefore decided to follow her passion of photography full time. A couple of exhibitions later she decided that the people she was photographing were far too interesting to just feature on stills and completed a Masters in Documentary Film at LCC for which she received a Distinction.
Since then Holly has directed films for the NHS, Royal College of Physicians, innocent drinks, The Winchester Project and London, Stockholm and Valencia Design Weeks. Last year Holly was commissioned by the BBC to direct and produce a documentary for the prestigious CBBC series ‘My Life.’
‘My Birthday Shook the World,’ about children born on 9/11, received Pick of the Day in four national newspapers and transmitted in March 2012.
Update: Holly was chosen as a ‘One to Watch’ at Edinburgh Television Festival and this year her film for Inside Out West has been nominated for a Cancom award and an RTS award.
